Holistic Approach to our Housing Crisis
-
The time and treasure spent on transportation and in traffic is better spent closer to home and with families.
-
Removing the barriers to education, employment, and resources.
-
Ensuring that our kids have a jumpstart on their education and giving new parents an early reprieve from the outrageous cost of childcare.
-
A focus that is anti-gentrification and pro-housing, and built on the real-life experiences of lifelong and new residents alike.

Free Full-Day Pre-K for ALL
Our bold and inclusive Affordable Austin plan is built off of lived experience, ideas from our District 3 neighbors, and practical and equitable application. These are our first steps in making sure our city’s values mirror its policy.
We need to quit being ok with pageantry and put an emphasis on policy that will have an immediate & positive impact on working families’ lives.
Public Safety
Our public safety must be designed in a manner that all Austinites live in safe and secure communities, free from fear of violence, discrimination or oppression. We need to approach public safety holistically, ensuring that we are addressing the root causes of our problems like mental health, housing and poverty. A safe and healthy Austin for all is not out of reach, and together we will accomplish it.
